Campus of Recovery

Our Property

The Campus of Recovery approach allows Samaritan House to assist clients in achieving and maintaining long-term sobriety by providing a supportive and nurturing environment of care with a continuum of services housed in one location.

The Samaritan House Campus of Recovery is on 16 wooded acres in a tranquil parcel of property just off the hustle and bustle of Forest Drive in Annapolis. There are two residential recovery houses accomodating 28 clients. The residential halls also have rooms for meetings, counseling sessions and outpatient opportunities for alumni. Two transitional houses provide space for 20 clients who have completed our program but need temporary housing as they re-establish life in the community. Our grounds feature a bastketball court, space for gardening and a large pavilion for gatherings.

Community Need

As one of just a few certified residential care facilities in Anne Arundel County for men that provide comprehensive care, our waiting list is unceasingly long. With 110,000 Marylanders reporting that they needed but did not receive treatment for illicit drug use and 231,000 reporting the same for alcohol use last year, it is incumbent on us to expand treatment options for our community members.

We invite you to join our mission of recovery...

Please make your gift today.

Because together, as a community, we can build a place where hope conquers the hurt and lives are touched by the inspiration of recovery.
